Owned by Dr. Stephen Foley, the restaurant was inspired by his deep appreciation for Thai culture and the heritage of his two children, who are Thai and Irish—giving meaning to the name “Thairish.” What makes Red Elephant especially unique is its heart in the kitchen: many of our chefs come directly from villages throughout Thailand, bringing with them generations of family recipes, authentic techniques, and a genuine passion for sharing their culture.
